Miss Shardë Al Mullah was crowned as absolute queen of the contest Last February 17th, during the Miss Costa Rica Gay Pageant, Miss Shardë Al Mullah was crowned as queen of the contest at the La Avispa Bar (where the event was held).

It was quite a contest with a great variety of styles, accessories, garments, and makeup. The contestants showed their best galas, porturas and made a powerful connection with the audience and with the judges . It was a night which required a great deal of planning and creativity on the part of both the participants and the organizers. The event is famous for its catwalks, which are some of the most professional we’ve seen.

The pageant included three transgender contestants and an incredible audience that filled the bar La Avispa to capacity. I also want to take this opportunity to tell you that the next March of Diversity 2017 will be held on Sunday, June 25.

We hope that she will have the same success and positive influence as in previous years.
