Description

Situated on a mountainside overlooking the Pacific Ocean, rainforest canopy and National Park, La Mansion Inn provides fabulous 360 degree views from its rooftop Sky Lounge. The internationally-renowned Manuel Antonio National Park and beaches are just two kilometers from the hotel. You may access the local airport and world-class sport-fishing just minutes away at the Marina Pez Vela. Combining this exotic setting with the finest foods, services and amenities available, they offer a remarkable luxury experience.

The hotel is Just minutes away from pristine beaches, sport-fishing at Quepos harbour, and the local airport (approximately 20 minutes). Located in Manuel Antonio, near Costa Rica’s famous National Park, La Mansion is nestled in one of the last remaining natural zoos of the world.

The Inn is of elegant Mediterranean design. The interior displays a very large number of original paintings by some of Costa Rica’s top artists. An eco-friendly project, most water at the Inn is heated by solar energy.

Suites and rooms are anything but standard. All are air-conditioned and have bathrooms, dressers, televisions, in-room telephone systems, outside sitting areas and desks. Every room has sliding glass doors, which open to incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding jungle.

Our Opinion

Location is outstanding and about several minutes from any restaurant or bar in the heart of Manuel Antonio and very close to the National park; they have a shuttle as well. The food is good as are the rooms. Great views of the ocean and bays and also the canopy of rainforest. You can see monkeys and sloths from your room. The pool is small but we expected that at a boutique hotel.

Cousteau Suite

In December of 2012, the magnificent Cousteau Suite became the newest addition to the La Mansion Inn’s inventory of accommodations. Measuring no less than 100 square meters, this spacious area boasts a large bedroom, sizeable living room and a separate dining area, with plenty of space to spare for an extra queen size bed should it be needed. The suite’s bathroom measures almost 4×4 meters (150 square feet) and is equipped with a state-of-art jacuzzi with two shower heads. This modern bathroom is also equipped with an additional shower and fully conforms to Costa Rica’s handicapped access (Law #7600).

Located to the right of the parking lot, lobby and restaurant, the Cousteau Suite is conveniently situated for the elderly or the handicapped. At the same time, you will find that the Cousteau Suite is extremely secure while still providing a partial ocean and jungle view.
