Kasiiya Papagayo

Kasiiya means “find your pace” in Swahili, which is indicative of its nature-led experiences and healing program. The perfect place to connect with yourself, offering 123 private acres of a luxuriant jungle accessible from just one road and three deserted spectacular beaches, an entire white sandy beach for your enjoyment, an intimate beautiful air-conditioned tented suite, assuring full privacy to all guests.
Definitely one of Costa Rica’s most sustainable lodges!

Description

Kasiiya is located among the calm and seclusion of Costa Rica’s stunning natural surroundings, set on 123 acres along an isolated surf beach at Bay of Papagayo on an exclusive private peninsula, just 45 minutes from Liberia international airport.

Kasiiya features two unique front beach units and five air-conditioned tented suites; each one connects you with nature. There are only seven luxurious tented suites spread across the whole peninsula, many with direct access to the clear turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean. Experience this amazing destination, spend fabulous time on your own private island.

Whether you want to relax beachside amid tropical forests or watch the fantastic sunset from the comfort of your king-size bed, each of the eco-suites affords all the luxuries and privacy in a peaceful setting.

This tropical paradise melodiously brings nature in to all its furnishings, and the setting is absolutely gorgeous. The area is home to whales, turtles, dolphins, birds, monkeys, and many other animal species.

Our opinion

What we love about this retreat? Its sustainability and nature

Kasiiya Papagayo is an eco-resort in virgin dry forest on a private peninsula, with seven luxurious suites, all completely eco-friendly without compromising on luxury, built on wood platforms overlooking the forest canopy and ocean.

The retreat has two restaurants: The Beach Restaurant with creative local and international dishes made with fresh and organic ingredients and The Sunset Lounge for cocktails, here you can watch the wonderful sunset and luckily even observe the whales playing.

A charming destination perfect for couples, families, nature & wildlife lovers, travelers looking for relaxation and wellness, restorative yoga, and soul healer.

October to February is known as the best time to spot whales and dolphins. Other activities on the property include paddle boarding, snorkeling or diving, cooking classes, horseback riding, deep-sea fishing, jungle ATV tours, surfing lessons, and sailing.

If you’re looking for a unique getaway to reconnect with nature and heal your body and soul, this place will exceed your expectations.
