Arenal Springs Resort

Located between the town of La Fortuna and the national park, the Arenal Springs Resort offers several places on the property to sit back and take in the magnificent views of the majestic Arenal Volcano.

Within the lush tropical gardens are a series of hot springs and a pool, complete with a swim-up bar. Guests can choose to have a relaxing spa treatment after a day of activities.

Delightful local and international cuisine is served in the hotel restaurant, which also offers unbelievable views of the volcano. Rooms are spread throughout the property and each features a private terrace.

Arenal Springs Resort offers the perfect combination of relaxation and comfort in exuberant tropical settings, as well as the best view of the Arenal Volcano from any vantage point.

The hotel features colonial-style rooms with all the amenities that one can expect from a 65-room mountain retreat.

Six rooms are specially designed for the disabled and all public areas are handicap-friendly.

Each room can accommodate up to five people, and they feature their own terrace, king or queen-sized beds, air conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, refrigerator, telephone, safety deposit box, private bathroom, hairdryer, and lush tropical gardens.

The Ti-Cain restaurant is located on the premises of Arenal Springs Resort.

The restaurant provides one of the best views of Arenal Volcano that can be found in any area restaurant.

The Ti-Cain offers breakfast (included in your room rate) and an a la carte menu for lunch or dinner.

The restaurant also offers a vast selection of wines for your pleasure as well as some of the finest national gastronomy and international dishes to be found.

Our opinion

Set in spacious grounds with paths of tropical gardens, Arenal Springs is a lovely and comfortable choice for your time in Arenal.

The hotel comes with the feel of an international resort, as do most hotels in this area, but we have received very good feedback from our returning clients.

A series of rooms are located in low-rise bungalows dotted around the grounds and connected by well-surfaced roads.

The Arenal Volcano itself is visible from almost everywhere throughout the grounds when the weather is clear, and the hub of the resort is the main restaurant, swimming pool and hot springs complex.

Junior Suite

Upon entering this junior suite, you will find one king-sized bed or two queens with comfortable pillow-top mattresses, crisp, clean linens, and extra-large fluffy pillows.

Suites have high ceilings, rustic textures, inviting earth tones, and a combination of woodwork, granite counter tops, and the bright colourful artwork of local artists.

There is a supreme view of Arenal Volcano from every room.

Master Suite

One- or two-bedroom suites are available depending in your needs, with a living area, walk-in closet, and a lovely spa-like bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, rainfall shower, and indoor garden.

The exquisite toiletries are made in their own certified onsite lab and include hand-soap, Red Apple shampoo, Aloe Vera conditioner, and Honey Vanilla hand cream.
